Job summary

The Capital Hotels in Sandton seeks a Banqueting Coordinator to drive events revenue by managing enquiries, quotations and bookings from first contact through to confirmed business. You will keep accurate CRM records, track sales activity and forecast events, while coordinating contracts, function sheets and day-of event setup with other teams for a smooth guest experience.

Role requires Matric, a Hospitality Diploma or similar, and 1–2 years’ relevant experience with hotel software and CRM/POS

Qualifications

• Matric required; Hospitality Diploma or similar preferred.
• 1–2 years' Banqueting Coordinator experience.
• Experience with hotel management software, CRM/booking systems and POS.
• Strong sales coordination, lead-tracking and reporting abilities.
• Calm under pressure with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage enquiries, quotations and bookings from initial contact to confirmed business.
• Prepare contracts, function sheets and event reports.
• Communicate client requirements to operations; oversee setup and day-of running.
• Maintain CRM records, track sales activity and forecast events.
• Ensure pricing, costing and admin procedures are followed; resolve guest issues.
