Job summary

ANEW Hotel Capital in Sandton seeks a Banqueting Coordinator for its 5-star setting. You will coordinate food and beverage for functions across Banquet and Meeting rooms, ensuring flawless service and first impressions.

You will greet guests, brief conference facilitators, and work across shifts including nights and weekends to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Knowledge of Opera and Front Office systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) with hospitality qualification desirable.
• At least 1 year receptionist experience in hospitality (3-4 star).
• Knowledge of Opera, Front Office and F&B systems.
• Excellent English; IsiZulu an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and maintain hospitable attitude.
• Ensure conference facilitators receive welcome packs and briefings.
• Coordinate delivery of food and beverage for functions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle requests promptly.
• Conduct post-conference debrief and sign-off with client.
