Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Banqueting Coordinator to manage planning and execution of diverse events at a premier Benoni venue. You will liaise between clients and venue operations to ensure seamless service delivery, coordinating menus, floor plans, timelines, and onsite setup.

The role requires 1–3 years in event coordination or hospitality, excellent organization, and strong communication. Evening/weekend availability is expected, with meals provided during shifts and access to training

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in event coordination, banqueting, or hospitality operations.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of banqueting events, including client meetings, menu selections, and floor plans.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure all event requirements are met.
Work closely with catering, AV, and service teams for flawless execution.
Manage event timelines, setup, and breakdown schedules.
Prepare and distribute event orders to departments.
Address client requests and resolve issues during events.
