The role requires calm leadership under pressure, precise mise en place, and collaboration with Head and Sous Chefs to deliver memorable dining experiences for discerning guests. Flexibility for shifts and weekends is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a busy catering or hotel banqueting environment.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Sandton, Gauteng.

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff as required.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines for event service times.
• Contribute to menu development and brainstorming sessions.
