Qualifications

• 8+ years in professional kitchens with 4+ years in senior banqueting or large-scale events.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume banqueting operations and large kitchen teams.
• Expertise in menu creation, costing and execution for diverse events.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation, and HACCP.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary operations for banquets and events, ensuring flawless execution from preparation to service.
• Develop creative, diverse, and cost-effective menus suitable for various event types and client preferences.
• Lead, train, and manage a large team of banqueting chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Maintain stringent standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety across all banqueting kitchens.
• Effectively manage food costs, inventory, and procurement, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
