Codematch Co in Sandton, Johannesburg is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a four-person team, drive new business growth across South Africa and into Africa, and deliver sustained revenue expansion. You will develop sales strategies, coach the team to exceed targets, manage pipeline and forecasting, and cultivate strong executive relationships with clients in a fast‑moving B2B tech environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years' successful sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience leading and coaching a sales team.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong experience in new business development and client relationship management.
• Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting and reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of four sales professionals.
• Drive new business acquisition and grow existing client relationships.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coach and support the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Manage pipeline development, forecasting and CRM reporting.
• Support complex negotiations and strategic client engagements.
• Analyse sales performance and implement improvement plans.
• Identify new market opportunities across South Africa and Africa.
• Work closely with leadership, marketing and operations to achieve commercial objectives.
