Codematch is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a four-person sales team and drive new business growth across South Africa and into Africa. This on-site role in Sandton demands a commercially driven leader who excels in winning new business, coaching teams, and building client relationships.

The successful candidate will develop sales strategies, manage the pipeline, forecast accurately, and support complex negotiations while collaborating with marketing and operations to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years' successful sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience leading and coaching a sales team.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in new business development and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of four sales professionals.
• Drive new business acquisition and grow existing client relationships.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coach and support the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Manage pipeline development, forecasting and CRM reporting.
• Support complex negotiations and strategic client engagements.
• Analyse sales performance and implement improvement plans.
• Identify new market opportunities across South Africa and Africa.
• Work closely with leadership, marketing and operations to achieve commercial objectives.
• Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
