Job summary

Pg Group in Polokwane, an aviation MRO leader, seeks an experienced Aviation Quality Assurance Manager to establish and maintain the QMS, ensuring compliance with SACAA CAR 145 and EASA standards in a demanding operational environment.

You will lead audits, drive corrective actions, mentor QA staff, review documentation, monitor KPIs, and liaise with regulators and customers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years in aviation quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations (e.g., SACAA CAR 145, EASA).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the QMS in accordance with aviation regulations.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee quality control for maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.
• Manage non-conformance and corrective action reporting with timely resolutions.
• Train and mentor QA staff on standards and procedures.
• Review and approve technical documentation, work instructions, and procedures.
• Monitor KPIs and report trends to senior management.
• Liaise with regulators and customers on quality matters.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the organization.
• Stay updated on aviation regulations and best practices.
