Placements24 in Soweto, Gauteng, seeks a Senior Aviation Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA efforts across manufacturing and operations. You will develop and maintain the QMS in line with AS9100/ISO 9001, conduct audits, analyze quality data, and drive CAPAs with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a 6+ year track record in aviation QA, expertise in audits, SPC, root-cause analysis, and strong communication and leadership abilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 6 years of Quality Assurance experience in aviation/aerospace.
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience conducting internal and external audits.
• Strong SPC, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS per aviation standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPAs.
• Oversee incoming quality, in-process QC, and final product acceptance.
• Manage supplier quality programs, audits, and evaluations.
• Lead regulatory compliance audits (SA-CARS, EASA, FAA).
• Develop and deliver QA training across departments.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints; determine root causes.
