Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Commercial Pilot with an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license to join our flight operations in Centurion, Gauteng. You will command commercial aircraft, conduct pre-flight checks, and ensure strict regulatory compliance while coordinating with crew and ATC.

Applicants must have 3,000+ total flight hours, including 1,000 PIC hours, and possess type ratings (B737/A320) if possible.

Qualifications

• ATP license required with recognized aviation authority.
• Total flight time 3000 hours, including at least 1000 PIC hours.
• Type ratings for B737 and/or A320 are highly advantageous.
• Current Class 1 medical certificate and thorough knowledge of aviation regulations.
• Strong CRM and decision-making under pressure; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Command and operate commercial aircraft safely and efficiently per regulations.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems and flight plans.
• Ensure compliance with ATC instructions and aviation rules.
• Coordinate crew through CRM and make timely decisions under varied conditions.
• Monitor systems, maintain logs, and manage emergencies calmly.
