Placements24 is seeking an experienced Commercial Pilot to join our flight operations team in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will handle pre-flight checks, plan flights, and lead in-flight operations with focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires a CPL with type ratings, 1500 flight hours, an IR, and a valid Medical Certificate. You will work within a professional aviation environment offering growth through command upgrades and training.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPL with relevant type ratings for the fleet.
• Minimum 1500 flight hours with multi-engine experience.
• IR and Medical Certificate current.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, and navigation.
• Excellent decision-making and safety commitment.
• Team-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-flight inspections, planning, and preparation for airworthiness.
• Pilot commercial aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with plans and ATC instructions.
• Manage in-flight navigation, communications, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and operational records.
• Coordinate with cabin crew, ground staff, and operations control centers.
• Monitor weather and adjust flight plans for safety and efficiency.
