Job summary

Placements24 is seeking experienced Commercial Pilots to join a prestigious national airline operating out of Cape Town. This on-site role requires an ATPL, a First Class Medical, and a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours with 1,500 PIC hours in multi-engine aircraft.

You will command scheduled commercial flights, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the flight crew to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• ATPL license is required.
• First Class Medical Certificate is required.
• Minimum 3000 total flight hours with at least 1500 hours as PIC in multi-engine aircraft.
• Proficiency in operating large commercial aircraft types.

Responsibilities

• Command and control of assigned aircraft on scheduled commercial flights, ensuring passenger and crew safety.
• Conducting pre-flight inspections, planning flight routes, and monitoring flight conditions for safety and efficiency.
• Managing all aspects of flight operations, including navigation, communication, and adherence to air traffic control instructions.
• Maintaining detailed flight logs and records per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with flight attendants, ground crew, and air traffic control for seamless operations.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and aviation regulations.
• Responding to emergencies and abnormal situations with professionalism and decisive action.
• Pursuing continuous professional development to maintain aviation skills.
