Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking an Assistant Manager for a busy retail or hospitality setting. You will support the Store Manager, supervise staff, and help ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining exceptional service and a well-presented store.

You will oversee stock, cash control, and shift planning, uphold company policies, motivate the team to hit sales and operational targets, and respond to site call-outs as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
• 1-2 years' supervisory or management experience.
• Retail or hospitality industry experience.
• Comfortable working long hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and staff supervision.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a well-presented store.
• Oversee stock management, cash control and shift planning.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Respond to site call-outs when required, including alarm activations at any time.
