Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a reliable and hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily operations, supervise staff and drive customer service, sales and operational targets at our retail or hospitality site.

The role requires Grade 12, a valid driver’s license, 1–2 years in supervision, and the ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays. You will assist the Store Manager, manage stock and cash, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• 1–2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
• Retail or hospitality experience preferred.
• Able to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable and hands-on operational approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and team supervision.
• Maintain excellent customer service and store presentation.
• Manage stock, cash control and shift planning.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Motivate and lead the team towards achieving operational and sales targets.
• Respond to site call-outs when required, including alarm activations at any time of day or night.
