Cash Crusaders is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Cape Town to lead a high-performance retail team. You will drive sales, promote add-ons and manage promotions while maintaining merchandising standards and customer service excellence.

You will oversee inventory controls, customer feedback, and staff development to ensure a positive, productive work environment. Retail hours include weekends and public holidays, with a focus on sustained growth and customer satisfaction.

• People Management: Train, develop and motivate staff and promote internal growth.
• Administration & Compliance: Adhere to company policies and oversee daily admin duties such as cash-ups, safe checks and alarm checks.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Ensure consistent implementation of merchandising and marketing standards.
• Attract and retain a strong and loyal customer base.

Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory controls and ensure effective stock management.
• Monitor store performance in line with stock availability and customer demand.

Customer Service

• Ensure exceptional customer experiences that exceed expectations.
• Review and act on Mystery Shopper reports and customer feedback.
• Resolve product and service-related complaints quickly and effectively.
• Lead by example in reinforcing a customer-first culture among staff.

People Management

• Train, develop and motivate staff to reach full potential.
• Plan for succession and promote internal growth.
• Manage performance consistently and fairly.
• Foster a positive, engaging and productive working environment.

Administration & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, systems, and procedures.
• Oversee daily administrative duties, including cash-ups, safe checks, alarm checks and maintenance of admin files.
