Job summary

Clicks City Mall is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering service excellence and driving sales. You will lead the store team, oversee daily operations, merchandising, and promotional activities to uphold brand standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail management experience, strong financial acumen, stock control, and a customer-focused approach to achieve targets and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%)
• Desirable: Degree in Relevant Retail/Business Management
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an assistant store management role in retail/FMCG
• Financial management experience (budgets, P&L, ratios)

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to drive sales and customer loyalty
• Oversee stock, expenses, shrinkage and general housekeeping
• Ensure in-store visual merchandising aligns with brand standards
• Motivate and direct staff and manage scheduling
• Deliver excellent customer service and drive club card participation
