Staff Unlimited Recruitment is helping a client in the FMCG packaging industry to recruit an Area Sales Manager for the Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth area. The role focuses on driving sales growth, developing key customer relationships and leading a sales team to meet targets.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years FMCG sales experience, a relevant tertiary qualification, and proven leadership skills to coach and mentor a team. The position is permanent and located in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

Competenze

• Grade 12.
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or a relevant BCom degree.
• Computer literacy.
• At least 5 years’ sales experience in an FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business.
• Experience managing, coaching and mentoring a team.

• Manage the sales team and drive achievement of sales volume and revenue targets.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new markets and business opportunities.
• Achieve sales budgets, tonnage targets and revenue-per-ton objectives.

• Prepare sales reports and conduct business performance reviews.

My client in the packaging industry is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their team in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and managing a sales team to achieve sales targets and profitability objectives.
