Profile Personnel is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Eastern Cape within the FMCG sector to drive regional growth and expand market presence.

You will manage key accounts, lead partnered sales and merchandising teams, and coordinate with internal departments to optimise stock and cold chain processes, driving performance and share growth. This on-site role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and communication to build lasting partnerships and deliver results.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of sales management experience in FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and external partnerships.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• On-site in the Eastern Cape.
• Experience in cold chain logistics is a plus.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Drive regional growth by managing key accounts and overseeing third-party operations
• Lead and motivate partnered sales and merchandising agents to meet performance standards
• Manage key accounts, agency relationships, and partner engagements to optimise sales outcomes
• Facilitate volume growth within your portfolio while managing cold chain logistics and stock control
• Oversee and direct the internal sales team to achieve strategic objectives
• Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and new market opportunities

Duties:

• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with regional growth targets
• Manage relationships with external agencies and partners, ensuring service levels are maintained
• Lead by example to foster a high-performance sales environment
• Monitor and report on market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective stock management and cold chain processes

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of sales management experience within the FMCG sector
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and external partnerships
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Excellent reporting and time management capabilities
• Ability to work on-site in the Eastern Cape
