Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aquatic Centre Operations Manager for a premier leisure facility in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee day-to-day operations, pool water quality, lifeguard management, program coordination, and facility maintenance to ensure safety and a high-quality user experience.

The role requires leading staff, developing emergency action plans, coordinating swimming lessons and aqua fitness, managing budgets, and upholding health and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing aquatic facilities or similar leisure operations.
• Strong knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and pool safety regulations.
• Current lifeguard certification and First Aid/CPR qualifications are essential.
• Experience in staff management, scheduling, and training.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety protocols.
• A qualification in Pool Operations or Facility Management is a significant advantage.
