Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aquatic Centre Manager to oversee operations of a state‑of‑the‑art facility in George. You will lead staff, ensure safety, cleanliness, and outstanding customer service while delivering community‑focused aquatic programs.

This role requires 3–4 years in aquatic facilities, current lifeguard CPR/First Aid instructor qualifications, and strong leadership. You will manage budgeting, scheduling, and water quality to meet health standards.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience managing aquatic facilities or leisure centres.
• Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid instructor qualifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the aquatic centre's daily operations, including pool maintenance and safety protocols.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule lifeguards, instructors, and front-desk staff.
• Develop, promote, and manage a diverse range of aquatic programs, classes, and events.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the budget for the aquatic centre, controlling expenses and optimizing revenue streams.
• Enhance member satisfaction through excellent customer service and facility management in George.
