About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and safety-conscious Aquatics Manager to lead their aquatic center operations in Welkom . This crucial role involves ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and efficient operation of all swimming pools and related facilities. You will be responsible for managing a team of lifeguards and instructors, developing programming, and maintaining the highest standards of aquatic safety and patron experience. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the aquatic center, including pool maintenance, water quality testing, and facility cleanliness.
• Manage, train, schedule, and supervise a team of lifeguards, swim instructors, and pool attendants.
• Develop, implement, and promote a diverse range of aquatic programs, including swim lessons, fitness classes, and special events.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, emergency procedures, and lifeguard protocols.
• Manage the aquatic center budget, including staffing, supplies, and maintenance costs.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules for aquatic equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aquatics management or a related leadership role.
