Job summary

Placements24 seeks a proactive Aquatic Center Supervisor to lead lifeguards and pool attendants at a busy Centurion facility. You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction while coordinating programming and events.

Ideal candidates will have lifeguard certification with CPR/First Aid, prior supervisory experience, and strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to respond quickly in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• Previous supervisory experience in an aquatic facility setting is required.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the aquatic center, including pool deck management, safety checks, and patron supervision.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of certified lifeguards and pool attendants.
• Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations consistently and effectively.
• Conduct regular in-service training sessions and emergency drills for the lifeguard team.
• Manage pool chemical levels, water quality, and overall facility cleanliness and maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate swimming lessons, aqua fitness classes, and special aquatic events.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Aquatic Center Supervisor to manage operations at their busy swimming facility in Centurion. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable aquatic environment for all patrons. The Supervisor will lead a team of lifeguards and pool attendants, implement robust safety protocols, manage facility maintenance, and coordinate aquatic programming.
