Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg seeks an experienced IT Manager to own the full IT function, delivering hands-on technical support and strategic leadership across systems, infrastructure, and service delivery.

The role emphasizes Apple/macOS expertise, cybersecurity, governance, and driving IT strategy in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable day-to-day operations and lead IT transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ IT management experience with team leadership.
• Strong Apple/macOS, iOS, and enterprise integration with M365.
• Solid networking, security, and risk management knowledge.
• Experience with IT service desks, ticketing, and operations.
• Experience budgeting, procurement, and supplier relations.
• Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the IT function, mentoring staff and shaping service delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end IT operations including backups, mail, and server health.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, access, licensing, and asset lifecycle.
• Ensure boardroom and hybrid meeting tech works reliably across platforms.
• Drive cybersecurity, POPIA compliance, and information governance.
• Oversee IT procurement, vendor management, and contracts.
• Maintain IT documentation, diagrams, and architecture roadmaps.
• Support IT project delivery and stakeholder coordination.
