Job summary

ATS Client is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our hands-on team in Johannesburg. You will deliver first- and second-line IT support across hardware, software, and cloud-based systems, while maintaining Azure AD and Intune environments and assisting with SharePoint access.

You will work with security teams to ensure uptime, performance, and compliance. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in IT support, with hands-on Azure AD, Windows Server, and Intune experience, plus basic networking

Qualifications

0–2 years IT support or systems support experience.
Hands-on with Azure Active Directory (AD).
Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
Exposure to Microsoft Intune.
Solid troubleshooting and user support skills.
Basic understanding of cloud environments and networking.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-line IT support to internal users (hardware, software, and cloud-based systems).
Manage and support Azure Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Intune environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server and Linux systems.
Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Monitor systems, alerts, backups, and overall environment health.
Assist with user access management, permissions, and security controls.
Support email security and endpoint protection platforms (Mimecast and Defender).
Assist with SharePoint administration and user access.
Work with IT and security teams to ensure system uptime, performance, and compliance.
Document support processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
