Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Analytical Chemist in Centurion to join the Quality Control and Research team. The role focuses on establishing and validating robust analytical methods to ensure the quality and safety of products.

You will work with HPLC, GC, MS, and spectroscopy, perform routine and non-routine testing, and collaborate with formulation, production, and regulatory teams. Strong documentation and GLP adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• 3+ years of analytical method development and validation in a regulated industry.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR).
• Strong documentation skills and GLP knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for materials and products.
• Perform routine and non-routine testing per protocols.
• Troubleshoot instruments and methods promptly.
• Prepare validation reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with formulation, production and regulatory teams.
