You will work with HPLC, GC, MS, and spectroscopy, perform routine and non-routine testing, and collaborate with formulation, production, and regulatory teams. Strong documentation and GLP adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Analytical Chemist with expertise in method development to join their Quality Control and Research team in Centurion . This role is essential for establishing and validating robust analytical methods to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of our client's products. You will work with advanced instrumentation to analyze a variety of chemical compounds and raw materials. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate new analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, and spectroscopy.


• Perform routine and non-routine testing of samples according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.


• Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods, identifying and resolving issues promptly.


• Prepare comprehensive analytical reports, including method validation summaries and results documentation.


• Collaborate with formulation, production, and regulatory affairs departments to support product development and quality initiatives.


• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytical method development and validation within a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, chemicals).


• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation, particularly HPLC , GC, UV-Vis, and FT-IR.


• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, statistics, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH guidelines).


• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a laboratory environment.
