Job summary

Groupe CFAO in Africa, South Africa, is hiring a General Services Officer to manage service activity, coordinate technicians and ensure timely communication with customers. The role requires Matric, strong MS Office skills, and 3 years in the MHE or motor industry.

You will plan machine movements to the workshop, prepare quotations and ensure accurate record-keeping; you will also contribute to monthly sustainability reporting and service scheduling within the Kerridge system.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Advanced / Expert Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• + - 3 Years’ experience in MHE / Motor Industry
• Knowledge of English language, customer service, and electronics/computers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and communicate service activity; dispatch technicians.
• Facilitate customer calls, complaints and queries; communicate process/results to customers.
• Plan and arrange machines to workshop; follow through till delivery.
• Compile monthly sustainability report; invoicing within 3 working days.
• Ensure technicians achieve labour recovery; submit weekly CSI report.
• Maintain service schedules and update Kerridge system; assist with invoices and orders.
• Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports to department manager or foreman.
