This role requires a minimum of 5–8 years of experience in international sales, with a strong understanding of African market dynamics. Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, identifying reliable distributors, and ensuring compliance with import regulations. The position is full-time and based in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in international sales or export management, preferably in the dairy, cheese, or FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in developing markets and establishing distribution networks in Africa.
• Strong understanding of African trade dynamics and import/export regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel extensively across the African region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand cheese exports across African markets.
• Identify, evaluate, and appoint strong and reliable distributors in each country of the African region.
• Conduct thorough market research to understand local dairy demand, pricing structures, and competitive landscape.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors, importers, and key retail clients.
• Ensure compliance with local import regulations, certifications, and quality standards.
• Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and promotional strategies with distribution partners.
• Collaborate closely with the export and logistics teams in Pakistan to ensure smooth order execution and supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor distributor performance, sales targets, and market growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at regional trade fairs, exhibitions, and business forums to promote Latifia cheese products.
