Job summary

Vine Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Creditors Clerk for a client in Klapmuts/Stellenbosch. You will manage supplier accounts, process invoices, reconcile statements and ensure timely payments, while maintaining precise records and professional supplier communication.

The role requires experience in accounts payable, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in creditors or accounts payable role.
• Proficient in accounting procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier payments and ensure payment deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate records of creditors’ accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payment queries.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers and internal departments.
