Placements24 is seeking a proactive Account Manager to join our Vereeniging team. You will manage an existing client portfolio, nurture relationships, and identify upsell opportunities to drive growth. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service and retention within the Gauteng region.

You will collaborate with internal teams, prepare client reports, and stay informed about client offerings to ensure value delivery and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in account management, sales or customer success.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive satisfaction.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts as the main contact.
• Build and strengthen client relationships through regular communication.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Develop account plans to achieve growth targets.
• Resolve client issues in a timely, effective manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare regular reports on account status, feedback and sales performance.
• Stay informed about client products/services and industry trends.
• Contribute to client retention strategies and initiatives.
