Job summary

Karen Tupper Recruitment is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager for a luxury 5-star boutique hotel along Hermanus coastline. You will lead the front office team, manage daily reception operations, and oversee duty management shifts to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

Ideal candidates will have prior 5-star luxury hotel experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold South African citizenship.
• Matric or Grade 12 plus a recognized Hospitality qualification.
• Proven experience in a 5-star luxury hotel with front office procedures and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the front office team to maintain 5-star luxury standards.
• Greet VIPs, manage check-in/check-out, and resolve guest queries professionally.
• Efficiently use front office systems for reservations, reporting, and billing.
