Job summary
A logistics company is seeking a candidate for a transportation position, requiring operation of box trucks and sprinter vans. Responsibilities include loading, unloading components, and handling hazardous materials. Candidates should have at least 3 years of truck operation experience and a clean driving record. This role is critical for safe and efficient transportation within the Bay Area.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating Box Trucks / Sprinter Vans.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Experience with hazardous materials handling.
Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck and/or sprinter van to transport items.
- Perform material handling tasks, including loading and unloading components.
- Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety procedures.
Skills
Education
- Operate a box truck and / or sprinter van with a lift gate to transport items across the Bay Area
- Perform material handling tasks, including loading and unloading components and robotic systems
- Handle hazardous materials in accordance with established safety procedures and regulations
- 3+ years of experience operating Box Trucks / Sprinter Vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as liftgates and forklifts
- Clean driving record and active Driver's License
- Experience in the robotics industry is a plus
