GP Recycling, a recycling industry leader, is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Recycled Commodity Trader in our Plastic Division. As part of our dynamic team dedicated to fulfilling the unmet needs in the plastics industry, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art facilities, creating a superior experience for our suppliers and customers.

Your responsibilities will include identifying new supply locations as well as working with our experienced sales team to meet our ever-expanding demand. Location: This role is a remote role ideally located in the East Coast. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Directly grow the plastics division
• High focus on new supply which includes cold calling to meet our demand
• Work with existing sales team for supply
• Develop relationships with certain customers and potentially find new demand partners
• Use internal GP Recycling capabilities to create innovative structures that are long-term in nature
• Operate as a principled entrepreneur - treat your business as your own and work with urgency
• Work with our capability teams to execute transactions
• Create a superior experience for our counterparties
• Travel to existing and potential accounts across the country to grow your book of business (approximately 30% travel expected)

• 3+ years of experience procuring, selling, and/or trading plastics
• Established relationships with suppliers or customers in the plastic space

• Microsoft Dynamics experience
• Post-consumer or post-industrial plastic experience

For this role, we anticipate paying $110,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
