Cox Automotive Canada is seeking a Vehicle Movement Specialist to organize and stage vehicles within designated zones, ensuring safe, efficient flow per lot operations leadership.

You will use daily dashboards to guide move decisions, label units for tracking, and coordinate with crew leaders. The role emphasizes Cox/Manheim values, safety compliance, and proactive communication. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years in related field or equivalent degree/certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues like flat tires, low gas, jump-starts.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement within the designated zone or move area.
• Use dashboards to make move decisions for assigned zones.
• Drive continuous safety and efficiency improvements in vehicle movement.
• Move and stage vehicles safely and segment into proper work destinations.
• Confirm safe operation of vehicles and engage service/towing if inoperable.
• Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to track movements.
• Communicate inventory status to crew leaders and manage priorities.
• Champion Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful treatment of all employees.
• Follow company policies on employee and customer conduct and safety procedures.
• Be a visible representative of safety policy and model related behaviors.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
