Job summary

Cox Enterprises (Manheim) seeks a dependable Lot Operations Associate in Belcamp, MD to organize and stage vehicles, move units safely, and coordinate with crew leaders. You will follow safety procedures, use dashboards to inform move decisions, and help improve movement efficiency.

Eligible candidates are reliable, capable of standing and walking for long periods, and willing to learn Cox/Manheim policies. This role is on-site with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years' related experience; alternative: any degree/certification plus 5 years' related experience.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues such as flat tires or low gas.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement in the designated zone.
• Use Supervisor dashboards to guide move decisions and staging.
• Pursue safety and efficiency improvements in vehicle movement and staging.
• Move and stage vehicles to proper destinations to optimize loads and minimize empty trips.
• Confirm vehicles can operate safely; engage tow teams when needed.
• Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to track movements.
• Communicate inventory status and priorities with crew leaders.
• Model Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful conduct by employees.
• Enforce company policies for employee and customer conduct.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following health procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
