Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to organize and move vehicles within designated zones, staging them safely for transport. The role uses supervisor guidance and dashboards to prioritize moves while upholding Cox/Manheim values.

Minimum requirement is HS diploma/GED with 3 years in a related field, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate both standard and automatic transmissions. Day shift; no remote option.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience or equivalent combination
• 5 years’ related field experience may substitute for education
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
• Basic mechanical knowledge (flat tires, fuel, jump-start)

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement within the designated zone or move area to standards
• Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to decide moves and stage zones
• Drive continuous safety and efficiency improvements in vehicle movement
• Move and stage vehicles in a safe arrangement to proper destinations
• Ensure all vehicles can operate safely and engage service/towing if needed
• Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to track movements
• Communicate inventory status to crew leaders and managers to set priorities
• Model Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful treatment of all employees
• Enforce company policies on employee and customer conduct
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following procedures and leading by example
• Be prepared to perform other duties and occasional overtime as required
