Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking a Zonal Distribution Leader to oversee field operations from San Francisco or Los Angeles in a hybrid role. You will coordinate with underwriting teams, clients and brokers to implement distribution strategies across global, national, and local levels.

The role emphasizes growth across industrial/specialty segments, cross-class broker partnerships, and a shift toward Digital by Default while delivering One Allianz objectives and mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years track record in underwriting or development in industrial/specialty insurance
• 7-10 years experience building senior-level relationships with brokers and clients
• 5-7 years in international organizations or overseas assignments
• 3-5 years in leadership or influencing without authority
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; ACII or equivalent preferred
• Experience applying AI/ML to improve business processes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Identify key growth accounts and build Strategic Account Plans
• Lead broker engagement within the zone and interface with executives, LoBs, Claims and MM
• Develop balanced pipeline with target accounts to meet financial targets
• Promote 'One Allianz' with other Allianz OEs
• Act as Thought Leader and influencer to executives and peers
• Coordinate with Marketing to tailor zone requirements for market presence
• Deliver training aligned with MM Vision and spearheading sales culture
