Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking a Liability Zone Leader – West to lead a high-performing underwriter team in the Western Region. The role focuses on profitable liability business, large/critical client management, and regional/global strategy execution.

You will mentor team members, drive pricing and terms negotiations, and strengthen relationships with brokers and clients while ensuring governance and policy clarity across the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience underwriting profitable liability business.
• Established broker relationships at peer group level within local market.
• Specialized understanding of regional/local liability markets and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters to underwrite profitable new and renewal liability business regionally/globally.
• Negotiate participation, pricing and terms for large/critical clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients while managing a cost center budget.
• Oversee underwriting governance, pricing tools, and contract certainty on inception.
