Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead Illumio Core/Edge design, deployment, and policy governance across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments. You will build segmentation models, integrate with SIEM/SOAR, and work with application owners to onboard workloads.

This role requires deep experience in regulated environments, strong automation skills, and the ability to obtain DoD 8570 certifications within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years on Linux/Windows, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 2+ years deploying solutions for regulated mission-critical environments (finance, healthcare, federal, or energy).
• 1+ years of infrastructure automation tools experience.
• 1+ years of REST APIs, scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell) or automation frameworks.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Degree options with IT project experience as specified in the postings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of Illumio Core and Illumio Edge across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Develop Illumio workflows, runbooks, dashboards, and segmentation models for enterprise workloads and critical applications.
• Integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, C2C, vulnerability scanners, and cloud-native controls.
• Troubleshoot VEN and policy conflicts; support change management and lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with security architects to align policy models with Zero Trust and NIST 800-207 strategies.
