Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Illumio Zero Trust Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Illumio Core and Edge across on‑prem, virtualized, and cloud environments. You will architect segmentation, map dependencies, label resources, and enforce boundaries while integrating with SIEM/SOAR and CMDB pipelines to reduce attack surfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure engineering
• 3+ years Linux/Windows systems, virtualization, and cloud envs (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• 2+ years in regulated mission‑critical environments (finance/healthcare/federal/energy)
• 1+ years with infrastructure automation tools
• 1+ years with REST APIs and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell)

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and optimization of Illumio Core and Edge across environments
• Develop workflows, runbooks, dashboards, and segmentation models for workloads
• Integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, and cloud controls; analyze VEN telemetry
• Collaborate with owners for onboarding workloads and change management
• Lifecycle management including upgrades, health checks, and policy governance
