Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Platform Engineer to lead Illumio Core and Edge deployments across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments. You will architect segmentation policies, develop workflows and dashboards, and integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, and automation pipelines.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in cybersecurity or infrastructure engineering, TS/SCI clearance, and DoD 8570 certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years Linux/Windows, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 2+ years delivering solutions for regulated environments (finance/healthcare/federal/energy).
• 1+ years infrastructure automation tooling.
• 1+ years REST APIs and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willing to polygraph.
• Education: Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's with IT project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of Illumio Core and Edge across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB and automation pipelines; develop workflows and segmentation models.
• Collaborate with security architects to align policies with Zero Trust/NIST 800-207; perform lifecycle management and policy governance.
