Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to lead the operations and maintenance of a Zero Trust deployment within the DoD. You will interface with SASE, SD-WAN, and cyber operations technologies to monitor and resolve network incidents.

The role requires experience with routing protocols, multi-vendor equipment, and a Secret clearance. You will work with SMEs and leadership to brief on incidents and ensure continuous security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and switching protocols including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, or L3VPNs.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions, including Cisco or Juniper.
• Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations and maintenance of an industry leading Zero Trust deployment within the DoD.
• Interface with SASE, SD-WAN, application security, and cyber operations technologies to monitor and resolve network incidents.
• Apply advanced advising skills to brief senior leadership on current and resolved incidents.
