Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to lead the operations and maintenance of a Zero Trust deployment for the DoD, interfacing with SASE, SD-WAN, application security, and cyber operations technologies.

You will work with SMEs, vendors, government leads, and Booz Allen colleagues to monitor and resolve network incidents, applying advanced advising skills to brief senior leadership with awareness of current and resolved incidents.

Qualifications

• Must have strong routing and switching knowledge with experience in DoD or classified environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex multi-vendor networks (Cisco/Juniper).
• Familiarity with SASE, SD-WAN, and network security tooling is preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication for briefing leadership.
• Secret clearance is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations/maintenance of Zero Trust deployment within the DoD.
• Interface with SASE, SD-WAN, application security and cyber ops tech.
• Monitor and resolve network incidents with SMEs, vendors, and Booz Allen colleagues.
• Brief senior leadership on incident awareness and resolutions.
