Job summary

Booz Allen seeks a Network Operations Engineer to lead the operations and maintenance of a DoD Zero Trust deployment. The role involves interfacing with SASE, SD-WAN, and cyber operations technologies, coordinating with SMEs and vendors to monitor and resolve incidents, and briefing senior leadership on current and resolved issues.

The candidate will work with classified networks, multi-vendor firewalls, and traditional routing protocols, and must hold a Secret clearance with a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS).
• Experience with Tier II or III network troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multi-vendor network equipment (Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with classified networks.
• Experience with network management and monitoring.
• Experience implementing and managing multi-vendor firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Versa).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations and maintenance of a Zero Trust deployment.
• Interface with SASE, SD-WAN, application security, and cyber operations technologies.
• Collaborate with SMEs, vendors, government leads, and Booz Allen colleagues to monitor and resolve network incidents.
