Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to lead the operations and maintenance of a Zero Trust deployment within the DoD. You will interface with SASE, SD-WAN, application security, and cyber operations technologies to monitor incidents and coordinate responses.

You will collaborate with SMEs, vendors, government leads, and Booz Allen colleagues to resolve network incidents and brief senior leadership on current and resolved issues, ensuring the security and reliability of critical

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and switching protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS or L3VPNs.
• Experience with Tier II or III network troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment (Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with classified networks.
• Experience with network management and monitoring.
• Experience implementing multi-vendor firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Versa).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
