Job summary

World Wide Technology is hiring a Network Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Washington, DC. The position supports a secure DoD environment, focusing on zero-trust platform operations, automation, threat intel integration, and cyber defense analytics.

Candidate must hold a current TS/SCI clearance and demonstrate strong network security expertise. You will work with cross-functional teams to design and sustain distributed networks, SD-WAN, and cloud networking, while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration.
• 3–5 years of experience in network security or network engineering with Zero Trust focus.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing LAN/WAN networks and security.
• Knowledge of PKI, certificates, and network security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a high distributed network aligned to zero trust.
• Design and implement SD-WAN networks spanning multiple sites globally.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls; plan upgrades and optimizations.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and logs; ensure compliance with DoD ZT.
• Mentor junior engineers; collaborate with systems, security, and app teams.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment selection and deployment.
