Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to deploy, operate, and sustain cybersecurity platforms within a DoD environment in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes platform operations, automation, threat intel integration, and cyber defense analytics.

You will lead design and implementation of zero trust network architecture, SD-WAN, and extensive network security across dozens of sites globally, with on-site responsibilities in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in network security or network engineering with Zero Trust focus.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing LAN/WAN networks.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security best practices, firewalls, and segmentation.
• Deep understanding of routing, switching, multicast, and QoS.
• Knowledge of PKI and certificates; experience with SIEM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implement, and maintain a high distributed network aligning to zero trust.
• Design and implement SD-WAN architecture spanning multiple sites globally.
• Configure, install, and manage routers, switches, firewalls and related software.
• Plan, execute, and document network upgrades and expansions.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and logs.
