World Wide Technology is seeking a Network Engineer III for a DoD client on an Enterprise Zero Trust program. You will design, install, and manage highly distributed networks, focusing on zero trust principles and SD-WAN across numerous sites.

Requirements include active Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II, and extensive experience with network security technologies. Remote work flexibility is noted with onsite travel expectations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in network security or network engineering with Zero Trust focus.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing LAN/WAN and SD-WAN networks.
• Knowledge of zero trust security best practices, firewalls, and segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a distributed network aligned with zero trust.
• Design and implement SD-WAN across multiple sites.
• Configure, install, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and related software.
• Plan and document network upgrades and optimizations.
• Maintain network documentation and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
