Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to lead the DoD Zero Trust deployment and manage multivendor networking across SASE, SD-WAN, and security solutions. You will monitor incidents, coordinate with SMEs and vendors, and brief senior leadership on ongoing events.

The role emphasizes tiered network troubleshooting, classified networks, and strong collaboration with Booz Allen colleagues in a mission-critical environment. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS or L3VPNs).
• Experience with Tier II or III network troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment (Cisco/Juniper).
• Experience with classified networks and network management.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and maintenance of a Zero Trust deployment within the DoD.
• Interface with SASE, SD-WAN, and security technologies; monitor and resolve network incidents.
• Brief senior leadership on incidents and current status.
