Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned leader to guide a propulsion engineering team responsible for spacecraft propulsion components from design through production. You will shape technical strategy, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and manage risk while delivering critical milestones on program objectives.

The role requires deep propulsion knowledge, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with interdisciplinary engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading teams to deliver complex propulsion systems.
• Strong communication across all organization levels and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead propulsion hardware design, development, build and test.
• Own the technical plan and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Oversee lifecycle of product scope from development through production.
• Manage interdisciplinary engineering tasks for system success.
• Provide guidance on interfaces between customers and project efforts.
